I have used two papers both with subtle colour and patterning for my patchwork which is stamped with white embossing powder and has a lovely little birdy from Retro Cafe Art

The embossed stamping over your soft background is amazing for this pretty little bird.
I love the size relationship between the bird and the arch. The bird fits into the space so cozily...and he's very cute.
